About this Webinar
Many, if not all, of us have had experiences where we’ve felt calmer and less stressed after being in nature. Scientific research supports the very real physical and mental health benefits of immersing oneself in nature.
The emerging field of Eco Gerontology emphasizes the importance of healthy natural environments in supporting sustainable livability and advocates for nature-inspired and community-based solutions to our most pressing social and environmental challenges.
This presentation will focus on what Eco Gerontology is and the role of the natural environment for aging-in-place, sustainable livability, and promoting health, wellbeing, and quality of life for older adults and all ages.
