David Petroski is the Founder of Grandma Joan, the nation’s leading live-in care consulting and recruiting service. Additionally, he is the visionary behind the Live-in Caregiver Association, a separate organization providing free education, resources, and support to assist live-in caregivers in their career development.

A Human Resource Specialist, David and his team have successfully helped staff over $20 million in household payroll and has guided hundreds upon hundreds of families nationwide in safely navigating the challenges of the consumer-directed live-in care market.

David’s dedication has earned Grandma Joan five national awards of recognition in the senior-care industry. His journey in senior care began in 2010 and includes owning and operating a state-licensed home care agency.

As an expert panelist for CPE-accredited webinars, David has educated hundreds of senior-care industry professionals on private-hire live-in care. Holding the designation of a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, he is an NPRA NJ Founding Member, and he has been featured in radio interviews and is quoted in the 2018 book, “Aging with Care” as an expert in the private hire field.

Currently residing in New Jersey alongside his HR-professional wife Cathy, David finds joy in the company of their three grown children: Danny, Sofi, and Blake. His dedication and multifaceted expertise have left an indelible mark on the landscape of senior care and support.
