Session Info

Barbara Fillip is a lifelong knowledge explorer — who hopes to become a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) in 2025– with a passion for helping individuals and organizations navigate the evolving digital landscape.  With a background in knowledge management, adult learning, and technology adoption, she has spent over two decades designing and implementing strategies to empower people to engage with new ideas, tools and systems.

Currently, she focuses on the interaction of aging, technology and lifelong learning, helping older adults and aging professionals understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital literacy can support independence, cognitive resilience, and social engagement.

Beyond her work in aging and digital literacy, Barbara is also a writer and educator, teaching graduate courses in Knowledge Management and leading interactive workshops on concept mapping, AI literacy, and the future of learning. She has authored numerous articles and blog posts on personal knowledge management, technology trends, and speculative futures—and is currently working on a novel exploring AI’s role in society in the year 2065.

As a speaker, she brings real-world insights, and a practical approach to tackling the challenges of lifelong learning in a rapidly changing world. Whether helping individuals overcome digital skepticism or guiding organizations in implementing knowledge-sharing strategies, she is committed to ensuring that people of all ages stay empowered, informed, and adaptable in the face of technological change.
